The trick to making money in this (or any) economy is…

There’s this interesting little lumber yard in Rockland County, New York.

Every year over the summer this lumber yard hires high school students to chop wood.

To help increase production they usually announce a contest.

The prize is $1000 in cash to the person who chops the most wood.

As you can imagine the high school kids get quite excited.

And start to prepare themselves for the challenge.

As soon as the whistle blows everyone starts chopping like madmen.

Everyone that is except for one old man.

What he does instead is walk over to the shed and take what looks like a 15 minute break.

The he comes back out and chops wood.

He does this every hour.

Walks over to the shed, takes a 15 minute break then comes back out to chop more wood.

The actions of the old man does’t go unnoticed by the young guys.

They figured at least they would have the old man beat.

The next day the owner of the lumber yard, Mr. Rockridge, came out to announce the winner.

“And the winner is…”

The old man!

No one could believe what they were hearing.

And as the old man strolls over to pick up his 10 crisp $100 bills, the boys all bombard him with questions.

They want to know how the heck he could win with him napping all the time.

The old man looked up.

He said to the boys,”Everytime you saw me take a break and go into the shed I wasn’t napping. I was sharpening my axe.”

Now what about you?

When it comes to your rug cleaning business what exactly are you doing to sharpen your axe?

For example.

  • Are you finding better ways to turn phone shoppers into customers?
  • Are you learning how to increase your prices and have people happy to pay you?
  • Are you trying out new methods to make your company be percieved as an area rug authority in your area?
  • Are you investing in equipment to make your cleaning faster, easier and more profitable?

If your answer is “no”, then you will be at the complete mercy of the economy.

If your answer is “yes”, then you are in the enviable position of creating your own economy.

An economy where you thrive while everyone else around you struggles.

Look one thing is certain.

No matter type of economy we have had through our history, there have always been those who thrive.

You could be one of them.

The trick is it all depends on your attitude and how well you sharpen your axe.

When it comes to equipment in our industry the RugBadger line is at the most affordable price point it’s ever been.

And to make it even easier for you to own our tools we have a no money down financing plan.

Don’t miss this opportunity – it can end at any time.
